Jim is right about cleaning the carbs, but at least once a year, you should use a powerhead cleaning the engine tuner to carbon deposits that are normal for a two-stroke engine clean use. Large amounts of carbon accumulation can lead to piston ring and cylinder wall scored jammed engine damage.
I like cleaning Seafoam, but as mentioned, if you are having problems carb, it is better to disassemble and clean thoroughly.
